The Ecological Recycling Society (Ecorec, Greek: ΟΙΚΟΛΟΓΙΚΗ ΕΤΑΙΡΕΙΑ ΑΝΑΚΥΚΛΩΣΗΣ) is a Greek NGO with 35 years of experience supporting local, regional, and national authorities in waste prevention, reuse, recycling, and composting.
Ecorec participates in integrated projects, including pay-as-you-throw (PAYT) strategies and bio-waste separate collection. Ecorec provides training and capacity building, to the public and private entities and supports municipalities in implementing sustainable waste management practices. Through European and international projects, it advances circular economy, composting initiatives, and community engagement for a sustainable bio-based future.
Ecorec is partner in the CirBioWaste project.
