Biorefine Cluster Europe (BCE) is a European network connecting projects and stakeholders active in bio-based resource recovery, biorefineries and circular bioeconomy development. It facilitates knowledge exchange, dissemination of research results and cross-project collaboration among industry, academia and public institutions.

In the field of bio-waste management, BCE promotes the valorisation of organic residues from municipal, agricultural and industrial sources through composting, anaerobic digestion, nutrient recovery and biorefinery approaches. It supports the development of bio-based products such as biofertilisers, biochemicals and bioenergy derived from organic waste streams. The network contributes to improving resource efficiency, closing nutrient cycles and integrating waste streams into sustainable value chains. By linking innovation projects and fostering cooperation, BCE advances environmentally sound bio-waste treatment and recovery solutions and strengthens the implementation of circular bioeconomy strategies across Europe.
