The Catalan Waste Agency (ARC; Catalan: Agència de Residus de Catalunya) is a public authority responsible for waste management planning and oversight in Catalonia, Spain. Covering 947 municipalities and 7.8 million inhabitants, ARC supervises 22 composting plants and four anaerobic digestion facilities with a combined capacity of 550 kt/year. It promotes sustainable waste management, separate bio-waste collection, and composting practices. ARC also supports research, innovation, and policy development for circular bioeconomy initiatives, ensuring efficient resource recovery, nutrient cycling, and reduced environmental impact in Catalonia.

ARC is an associated partner in the CirBioWaste project.
